Now the Nokia was rumored for launching their own Symbian app store which joins on the flow with Apple , Palm , Blackberry and as well as Samsung. Well , it's because that Symbian was the most popular smartphone platform in the world, and this rumored would help phone users to easily find lots of interesting and useful apps.

“At first glance, for now, the app portal looks so so, there is some
confusion. But they are trying, polishing it and a lot has changed for
the better in a matter of days. A right step in a right direction… And
the distribution and revenue sharing model between application makers and Nokia
looks very attractive.”

Also from the Symbian Foundation, their members like Sony Ericson, LG,etc... were readying to launch their app stores.
